It's been forever since I've updated, because it's been forever since I drew anything. I've been focusing on school, clubs, playing video games, goofing off, doing everything except honing my creative talents. Part of this is that I don't know what I really want to do with my life anymore. I wanted to be an artist for a long time, but I've gotten older and more realistic, and the fact is that you can't make a decent living off of your work. The previous sentence applies to you, too, Naruto-tracing fanfic writers. Anyway, I've been reevaluating, and the fact is that art is still too big a part of my life for me to just give it up because I can't make money off of it.

Things are looking up, so expect some new stuff in the next few weeks.

I'd like to take a moment to address the subject of my drawing. I do nearly every picture from the same perspective, and there's typically very little action in my drawings. The truth is, I don't draw well when I try to do new things, and I end up reverting to the same mistakes I was making 6 months ago. It irritates me, and as such, I don't do it. But I could, and I probably will at some point. I need some variety in my portfolio, so expect some landscapes, maybe a battle scene or something, and maybe some more realistic stuff in the not-too-distant future.
